Blackbox productions would like to do some filming in Chew Magna on the 7th, 8th and 9th September 2026. The filming is for an Italian / English production called the Postman and will show a postman delivering letters to various houses in a beautiful English village. The postman finds his best friend has been murdered and goes off to Italy to solve the crime.
Affected residents will be informed nearer the time of where and when the filming will be taking place. BANES and the police will also be informed
The production will be making a donation to the New Post office as a thank you to the village.
