Due to the uncertainty in respect of the Covid-19/Coronavirus outbreak, and in order to limit any risk to members of the public, elected members or members of staff, Chew Magna Parish Council has decided to cancel the Annual Parish Meeting scheduled for 7thApril and all other Parish Council meetings until further notice.
The Parish Council has contingency measures in place to enable decisions to be made in the absence of meetings, and will continue to operate via electronic communication. Please check the village notice board or the web site (www.chewmagna.org.uk)where updates will be posted on the Parish Council section under news. Information will also be posted on the ‘Chew Magna Village’ Facebook page.
The Parish resilience team of wardens are working with other groups in the parish to provide support for people needing assistance. Please contact your local warden if you need assistance or contact Lynne Easton by email lynne@eastonpreece.netor call the Parish emergency number 07342 101230 and leave your contact details including your address.
The Parish is looking for volunteers to provide assistance to people in the village who are self-isolating. Volunteers will be provided with clear guidance. If you are able to volunteer please call Sarah on 01275 612086 or email chewmagnavolunteers@gmail.com.
