{"id":1291,"date":"2021-10-11T20:31:23","date_gmt":"2021-10-11T19:31:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chewmagna.org.uk\/?p=1291"},"modified":"2021-10-11T20:31:24","modified_gmt":"2021-10-11T19:31:24","slug":"notice-of-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chewmagna.org.uk\/index.php\/2021\/10\/11\/notice-of-vacancy\/","title":{"rendered":"NOTICE OF VACANCY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>NOTICE OF VACANCY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chew Magna Parish Council<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>that following the resignation<em>&nbsp;<\/em>of Cllr&nbsp;Andrew John Matthews, a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for&nbsp;Chew Magna Parish Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If, within 14 days* after the date of this notice (i.e. no later than&nbsp;Thursday, 28th October 2021), a request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer, Bath &amp; North East Somerset Council, Guildhall, High Street, Bath, BA1 5AW, by TEN electors for&nbsp;Chew Magna Parish Council, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The request must be signed by ten persons who, at the time of the request, are listed on the electoral register as local government electors for&nbsp;Chew Magna Parish Council.
