Local Authorities are following their expert guidance and are working with the NHS to communicate with specific settings as and when guidance is produced. &nbsp;&nbsp;Please can you help to disseminate this information amongst your networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What to do if someone thinks they might have coronavirus or have been in close contact with someone who has it:<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>stay at home and avoid close contact with other people<\/li><li>do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital<\/li><li>phone NHS 111 or use the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/111.nhs.uk\/service\/covid-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NHS 111 online coronavirus service<\/a>&nbsp; to find out what to do next. The 111 coronavirus service will tell you if you need to continue to stay at home (self-isolate) or if you need medical help<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Number of cases in B&amp;NES:&nbsp;<\/strong>There are currently no positive cases of COVID-19 in B&amp;NES. This is a table of confirmed cases split by upper tier local authority. B&amp;NES does not appear in this as we do not have any cases.&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/coronavirus-covid-19-number-of-cases-in-england\/coronavirus-covid-19-number-of-cases-in-england\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/coronavirus-covid-19-number-of-cases-in-england\/coronavirus-covid-19-number-of-cases-in-england<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Updated useful links &amp; advice<\/strong>:&nbsp;Please find attached a useful updated word document which gives links to the DHSC &amp; PHE\u2019s latest guidance and information which is continuously being developed and refreshed. Latest information and&nbsp;<strong>advice for the general public<\/strong>&nbsp;is on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/conditions\/coronavirus-covid-19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NHS pages<\/a>&nbsp;and contains links to the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GOV.UK<\/a>&nbsp;pages.&nbsp;<strong>Stakeholders and media&nbsp;<\/strong>should be directed to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/wuhan-novel-coronavirus-information-for-the-public\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GOV.UK<\/a>&nbsp;pages as before.<\/li><li><strong>Five things you can do to protect yourself and your community:&nbsp;<\/strong>Please follow this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/publichealthmatters.blog.gov.uk\/2020\/03\/04\/coronavirus-covid-19-5-things-you-can-do-to-protect-yourself-and-your-community\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PHE blog<\/a>&nbsp;on five things you can do to protect yourself and your community. Including:&nbsp;wash your hands, be prepared to self-isolate, plan ahead, use health services wisely&nbsp;and use trusted sources of information.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Businesses &amp; employers:<\/strong>&nbsp;The Department for Business, Energy &amp; Industrial Strategy have issued a special bulletin for businesses and employers (dated 11 March \u2013 attached). Included is business continuity advice, business support and&nbsp;online resources for businesses and employers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Educational establishments:&nbsp;<\/strong>The information and guidance issued in the attached letter to all B&amp;NES schools by the Director of Public Health, Bruce Laurence is still current. The Department for Education have set up a helpline to answer questions about coronavirus related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows: Telephone: 0800 046 8687 Email:<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DfE.coronavirushelpline@education.gov.uk<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Advice for travellers:<\/strong>&nbsp;see the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/conditions\/coronavirus-covid-19\/advice-for-travellers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">coronavirus advice for travellers<\/a>&nbsp;to find out what to do. There have been a number of travel updates including the categorisation of Italy.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Public facing campaign:<\/strong>&nbsp;To help get this information out into local communities PHE have asked all local authorities to share some public information posters for community spaces which can be downloaded&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bathnes.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=aaac7864bba59ea322ceb662d&amp;id=38b3b3d8d3&amp;e=a4e8f115aa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.
