Chew Valley Monday Club

OLDER PEOPLE


Chew Valley Monday Club meets weekly in the Millennium Hall from 10 till 3.30.  It enables people within the Chew Valley who spend most of their time alone to spend the day in congenial company.  It also provides carers with some respite. At present there are 30 members, most of whom are elderly. The Club provides morning tea/coffee, lunch cooked on the premises, a programme of afternoon talks and activities, and summer outings. The club also welcomes social members who prefer to come for the afternoon only. Each member contributes weekly towards costs.  The Club is run by a large team of enthusiastic volunteers.  To apply for membership please email pamharman@tiscali.co.uk
