The Friends of St Andrew's are a group who care
about the Grade 1 listed building in the centre of the village.
We want to maintain and enhance its physical fabric and environs
- whether we have religious beliefs or not.
We enjoy a programme of
events
and are proud of the projects
we have undertaken. We would welcome new
members so we can do even more.
"Churches
embrace most of the medieval architecture in England
These
buildings still answer to a need for calm and contemplation, perhaps
more than ever
They are the last place in England where the
beauty of the past can be enjoyed and pondered in solitude."
Simon Jenkins
