Chew Magna is directly served by the 672 / 67 services operated by CT coaches, ABus and Eurotaxis, to and from Bristol, and their service timetable can be accessed by taking the link here.


Also from the village are services to:

On Monday the 754 to Midsomer Norton and Radstock.

On Tuesday the 683 to Wells.

On Tuesday the 834 to Weston-Super-Mare.

On Wednesday the 752 to Bath via Pensford and Chelwood.

On Friday the 640 to Keynsham via Pensford.

Outside of this operation, from the A37 at Pensford and A38 at Winford there is an hourly or twice hourly bus services from and to Bristol and Wells, and Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare via Churchill respectively.


The 376 Wells to Bristol First Bus service can be picked up from the Bus stop at the Junction of the B3130 and A37, or at Pensford Bridge. This service links into the 375 / 377 and 29 services from Wells to Glastonbury and Street with onward connections to Bridgwater, Taunton and Yeovil. The 121 Weston-Super-Mare to Bristol Wessex Connect service on the A38 can be picked up at Winford Primary School, and the timetable can be viewed by taking the link here. This service also stops at Bristol Airport, where the Airport Link service runs approximately every 12 minutes throughout the day to Bristol Bus Station. Bus timetables

A new bus service will be starting in April, operating on Friday evenings between West Harptree and Bristol.  The service is being funded by developer contributions from a new housing development in Chew Stoke and has been formulated in consultation with Chew Stoke Parish Council.  The first day of operation will be on Friday 13th April and the operator will be North Somerset Coaches.  Please see the timetable below:

Special maximum return fares will be available on this service - £3.50 for the under 21s and £5 otherwise.  Diamond Travelcards will be accepted.

 

This service will run for a trial period to determine if there is sufficient demand to warrant continuing the service for a longer period.
